ACTUAR ES POSIBLE: ANTE EL CONSUMO DE DROGAS,
EDUCACIÓN PARA LA SALUD.
Desde la Unidad de Prevención de Drogas y Promoción de la Salud
pretendemos generar espacios de encuentros formativos para la población de
Santa Lucía, en los que se propicie la educación y la promoción de la salud.
Desde la relación privilegiada existente entre los miembros de la unidad
familiar, los progenitores juegan, respecto a sus hijos/as, un papel fundamental
en la educación y transmisión de valores. En el núcleo familiar se adquieren y
desarrollan las actitudes, creencias, valores, hábitos, estilos de vida y
comportamientos, que determinarán el modo en que los/as hijos/as deben
enfrentarse a la vida, y por tanto, el modo de relacionarse con las drogas.
Siendo concientes de que no hay un único modo de actuar, sí podemos decir
que cualquier familia puede mejorar su funcionamiento a través de un
aprendizaje que sirva como medio para conseguir educar con mayor eficacia.
Por ello, en el curso “Prevenir en Familia”, se hará especial hincapié en la
sensibilización y formación con padres y madres en relación a la prevención de
las drogodependencias, tratando de facilitarles información veraz sobre las
drogas, así como estrategias, habilidades y destrezas que les permitan
funcionar como agentes protectores de hábitos de vida saludables.
