Como cada 13 de abril, ese gesto de afecto y de intimidad que significa un beso también tiene su día, y es recordado alrededor del mundo.
Como una forma de volver a las cosas sencillas de la vida, el Día Internacional del Beso se celebra este sábado alrededor del mundo, como una experiencia gozosa o expresión de la intimidad. Es que el beso, a fin de cuentas, es la forma más universal que el hombre tiene de demostrar sus sentimientos.
La fecha surgió a partir del beso más largo de la historia, que tuvo una duración de nada menos que 46 horas 24 minutos y 9 segundos.
Recordado acaso como el beso más famoso del mundo, fue capturado por Robert Doisneau ante el Ayuntamiento de París en 1950, bajo el nombre de “Le Baiser de l’Hotel de Ville”.
ABC de España comenta que la estampa representó un encargo sobre el amor en París. Los protagonistas: la actriz francesa Françoise Bornet y su novio Jacques Carteaud. “La foto era posada, pero el beso era real”, había confesado ella.
Otra obra que hace referencia al beso lleva por nombre, justamente, “El beso” (1907-1908), obra más conocida de Gustav Klimt y que se encuentra expuesta en la Galería Belvedere de Viena. Los críticos encontraron en este beso una representación del que Apolo le dio a la ninfa Dafne, mientras ella se convertía en laurel.
Entre otros besos catalogados por la publicación española se incluyen los “besos ‘indies’”: aquellos que no quieren palabras. “Los besos indies salen en películas ‘indies’ francesas que se convierten en íconos de la modernidad. Los besos ‘indies’ nacen con la magia de dos personas que se quieren antes de haberse conocido”, señala.
Haciendo referencia a Amélie y Nino, los besos ‘indies’ son dulces e inocentes primero: comienzan con uno en la comisura de los labios, después el cuello y el ojo. Hasta que, observados por un gato, llega el momento esperado y se unen los labios de los protagonistas.
Volviendo a los clásicos, Shakespeare presentó el primer beso entre Romeo y Julieta con la vertiginosidad y precipitación a la que llevan casi todos los hechos de esa historia de amor prohibido.
Luego de contemplar a Julieta, de cuya belleza queda cautivo a primera vista, Romeo se dirige a ella en una conversación en la que el lenguaje religioso y la atracción carnal se impregnan a una atmósfera de tensión que precede al beso.
Curiosamente, los primeros Romeo y Julieta que se besaron sobre un escenario –a finales del siglo XVI– fueron dos hombres, ya que estaba prohibido que las mujeres fueran actrices.
Volviendo a tiempos modernos, llegamos hasta la serie Friends, con los personajes de Ross y Rachel. Primero él estaba enamorado, pero ella no sentía nada. Y, cuando ella se da cuenta, él ya estaba con otra.
Luego de una boda en Las Vegas y una serie de conflictos, los personajes reconocen que están enamorados el uno del otro, y sellan el momento con un beso. Todo un final feliz, para alegría de los fans de la serie.
Entre los besos más polémicos, imposible no recordar el que Madonna, Britney Spears y Christina Aguilera se dieron en 2003, en los MTV Music Video Awards
En la ocasión, la reina del pop giró su rostro hacia Britney y la besó, cuando nadie lo esperaba. Al rato gira… y era momento de Christina. Todo un beso pop-lésbico para el recuerdo.
Un beso que será recordado por la historia será el que el líder soviético, Mijail Gorbachov, le dio al jefe de Estado de la República Democrática Alemana, Erich Honecker, solo a unos días antes de la caída del Muro de Berlín. Y usted, ¿qué beso recuerda especialmente?.
